How readings are written
What we will say, what we will not, and what happens when a reading is not good enough to give you.
Every reading on this site is written in response to something a person actually asked, and each one is checked before you see it.
A reading is written for one question, not a category
We do not keep a dictionary of symbols and assemble entries from it. Each reading is written against the specific thing you described, which is why two dreams about the same object can be read very differently.
Nothing predictive, nothing prescriptive
We will describe what a symbol tends to carry and what pattern it usually points at. We will not tell you what will happen, and we will not tell you what to do. The closing question at the end of each reading is deliberately left open.
A reading that is not good enough is not given to you
Every reading is scored against the question it was written for before it reaches you. If it scores badly, it is rewritten once. If the rewrite also scores badly, you are told so plainly rather than handed something vague.
Who writes them
Readings are published under the Celestial Meanings editorial name. We do not invent authors or reviewers, and we do not attach a made-up personal byline to a reading. Where a named reviewer contributes, they will be named.
How readings are produced
Readings are drafted with the help of large language models and then held to an editorial quality bar before publication: each one is scored against the question it answers, and anything below the bar is rewritten or withheld. The models are a drafting tool, not the authority. The standards on this page are.
What we will not write about
We do not offer readings on medical, legal or financial questions, or on anything concerning another person’s health, death or intentions. Those are not symbols to interpret.
Where the interpretations come from
Readings draw on the long-established symbolic traditions these practices come from, framed reflectively rather than as fact. They are a prompt for your own thinking, not an authority on your life.
